We are beyond excited to share some incredible news. We’ve been confirmed as finalists for the WP Engine Agency Partner Program Site Achievement Awards 2025, for not one, but two of our sites! Thanks to the work we’ve done in creating accessible and inclusive websites for two of our incredible clients, Family Fund and Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
The power of web accessibility
Websites have the power to shape experiences, connect people, and provide life-changing information. For institutions like Alder Hey and Family Fund, this impact is especially profound. These sites serve not just as information hubs, but as vital access points for children, families, and supporters. Making sure that these sites are accessible to all, regardless of ability, is something we’re deeply passionate about.
It’s about removing those barriers, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it’s crucial for their users to fully engage, access resources, and find help in a seamless and accessible way.
Two projects, one mission
Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
Our collaboration with Alder Hey was rooted in creating a site that serves as both a resource for patients and a vital connection for families. Beyond the visual design, we focused on usability for all users, including those with visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, or motor impairments.
Working closely with the communications team at Alder Hey, we ensured that the hospital’s mission of care and support was reflected in its digital presence, one that’s open, clear, and welcoming to everyone.

Family Fund
For Family Fund, we aimed to create a platform that engaged families, volunteers, and supporters through creative yet accessible design and layout. We ensured that the site was not only functional but also intuitive and inviting for all users, regardless of their technical or physical abilities.
This project reinforced Family Fund’s mission to empower and support children in need. The website became more than just an informational tool, it became a bridge for connection, support, and hope.

Why accessibility matters
Being nominated as finalists for this award reinforces what we already know: creating accessible, inclusive websites isn’t just a tick box exercise, it’s a necessity. Digital accessibility aligns with our goals to ensure that every person, regardless of their abilities, has equal access to resources, services, and experiences available online.
By working with Family Fund and Alder Hey, we were able to take accessibility beyond compliance, designing with empathy and intention to create truly amazing user experiences. This has been a key focus for us, and it’s exciting to see that commitment recognised.
Looking ahead
As finalists for the agency awards, we’re not just celebrating this moment of recognition. We’re inspired to continue pushing the envelope in creating websites that break down digital barriers and help shape a more accessible online world.
We also want to take the time to thank Family Fund and Alder Hey, alongside our talented team for working together on these meaningful projects. We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished.
